If
at the beginning of March you had asked me, 'Where do you see yourself
in October?', my answer would not have been 'in a new country.' After
twelve years in the UK, it's a surprise and delight to find myself in
the Netherlands! At the beginning of September, I moved to Utrecht to
start a postdoc on early medieval letter writing. So far so good--my
colleagues and my work are wonderful, and the first two months have
flown by.
